Mission, Vision & Values

Mission

The UW Master of Health Administration program serves as a dedicated source of expertise that helps health care organizations improve the health of the people and populations they serve.

How we do this:

  • Attract and train early and mid-careerists from diverse backgrounds to be effective future health care leaders
  • Utilize evidence-based training methods (experiential learning, field-based projects, and professional development) to develop our students
  • Conduct and apply high-impact interdisciplinary research that addresses the problems faced by practitioners and policy-makers
  • Listen to and collaborate with a wide range of practitioners to implement best practices that help them carry out the missions of their organizations

Vision

The UW MHA program aims to become the MHA program most known for developing leaders that will transform health care delivery to achieve population health.
