Founded in 1970, the University of Washington's Master of Health Administration program has a long tradition of excellence in training future health care leaders. Our alumni have gone on to become executives in hospitals and leaders in clinics, community health centers and consulting agencies.
The UW MHA consistently ranks as one of the best graduate programs in health administration in the United States. It was named 10th in U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 rankings. It's also accredited by CAHME, considered the gold standard for graduate programs in health care management.
Our program has a consistently high completion rate. For the 2016 graduating cohort, the completion rate was 100 percent. About 88 percent of UW MHA graduates are employed within three months of graduation.
The MHA program is an interdisciplinary group degree in the UW School of Public Health.
